Jack has done all the electrical work on our extension; a single story kitchen, utility and toilet. Jack came out as soon as we had the structure up and went though our needs. Jack is very organised, thorough in his planning and very tidy. He pays attention to detail, and also offered advice on things we’d not thought about. After the first fix, was wasn’t due to see Jack again until the second fix, but a slight change to the initial plan, and a need for heat and smoke alarms, and Jack managed to fit us in to install ahead of plastering.Jack also moved our consumer unit, and did a super neat job of that too, so we now have an up to date, safer consumer unit that is better suited to our needs.Before our kitchen was installed he called round to check everything once again and then as soon as our kitchen was in, Jack returned to finish off the second fix. Jack was happy to do some additions for us, and it never felt like anything was too much for him. He even did some restorative work for us that wasn’t really within his remit, but he wanted it looking right. On top of his professionalism he genuinely one the nicest lads I’ve met, arrives when he say he will and leaves it very tidy. Thank you so much.

Jack is really reliable and I recommend him all the time. He’s very patient when I’ve got dates wrong or changed my mind! I’ve worked with him in a work capacity on the renovation of an old mill (where he was asked to do unusual things for particular artist’s equipment and lighting and was great with the artists) and in my own home 🏠

Jack has recently finished first fix on our project. He has gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy. He is professional, friendly and gives sound advice. The quality of his work is second to none. He is respectful of our home, ensuring the pet cat we have is safe when he is working (hoovering any debris so it doesn’t get in her paws). He is security conscious and keeps the doors locked when working on other parts of the house. He is mindful of our furniture and ensures disturbance and mess is kept to a minimum. He gets back to us with answers to any questions we have, we are so pleased we have chosen him for our work. We won’t use another electrician now we have had Jack. I will post another review and photos when completed but wanted to give Jack the praise he deserves.

After being recommended them by a close friend, I decided to reach out to Vokes Electrical for a quote for changing all of the lighting in my house to down-lights. I had a rough idea of which lights I wanted and where I wanted them positioned within each of the rooms, and of the 4 companies that came to see the house the guy from Vokes (Jack) was the only person that actually sat down with me and went over the finer details of where I’d like the lights positioned and provided feedback from his professional point of view, even going so far as to get out a laser level to show me where he thought I should place the lights – as a result, I ended up being able to remove 3 down-lights from the project and 2 of my rooms now look a lot better than they otherwise would of. He managed to finish the whole house in 2 days, was a really pleasant guy to speak to and even went as far as recommending me a specific generation of Philips Hue bulb because they didnt stick out as much as the older (cheaper) version I was looking at buying, which had he of not warned me, would of been an expensive mistake for me to make.

Had Jack over to do some general electrical work and install surge protection to our consumer unit. Top quality work and arrived on time when he said he would, easy to chat with and would highly recommend.

It’s difficult to find a trustworthy, professional, friendly, and reliable trade who works to such high standards, but Jack was perfect we couldn’t recommend him enough, we have use him numerous time now and he does such a fantastic job.

Jack installed an electric vehicle charging point for me. Following a visit to review the proposed installation he provided a quote. Once I decided to go ahead the installation went as planned without any problems.

We have been using Jack since April 2021. He rewired our cottage, installed power in an office, installed a car charger and provided advice and fitted outdoor lighting; He is up to date with the latest products and has a keen eye for detail. Jack took on board that we were going to be doing an extension on the property at the start of this year and made sure everything was in place to avoid too much disruption, we have now completed this project and are extremely pleased with his work. We have found Jack to be reliable, professional, friendly, tidy, fair on price and would not have any hesitation in recommending him or using him in the future.

Jack recently completed a full house rewire including a new kitchen for us. We’ve been really impressed with his work. During the process he arranged all the other tradesmen including; plasterer, plumber and joiner on our behalf. The job was done very efficiently and everything ran smoothly. Jack was very hardworking and we were particularly pleased with his great communication throughout all of the work so we always knew what stage we were at and what was happening next. Jack fully rewired my house and installed all the electricals in my kitchen. The service provided was fantastic, the work was done to an excellent standard and we were always kept in the loop as to what was happening.
